The Blue Blood palette from Jeffree Star!

I guess  that if i am ever going to end up blogging, even just a tiny bit.  I have to jump straight into whatever is going on at the moment, so here we are.

I watch a couple of beauty youtubers, mainly Tati, Jeffree Star and occasionally a few others. I already own a couple of liquid lipsticks and lip ammo from JSC, but when he announced the Blue Blood collection i quickly understood i could not let this go.  

My favorite color is blue, and also his tiny references to the death topic. Jeffree, i am sold.

I sadly didn't make it in time for the launch on his official website as i had planned, but luckily a retailer in Norway was gonna launch it an hour later, i was ready to get my hands on it.  I really craved for the blue chrome mirror too, but that was not available. 

I got my palette in the mail a few days ago, but waited until today to open it up. It's all work and no play until the weekend. 

Heads up that i don't really care about this ''perfectionism'' we see on instagram and such. And i feel that this cropped photo from my phone does it enough justice.  The color is there. I am just your ordinary girl playing with make-up, there is no competition here. 

I obviously ended up straight into the most blue shades in the palette, to create this look i used '' Im Cold'' as a base, since that was the first shade i went into. 

Then i went for ''Ocean Ice''  in the outer corner and crease, blending it out.  In the inner corner i used ''Cullinan'' to highlight, and going for ''Undertaker'' on my lower lash line, blended out with the leftover from the shade ''Ice Tray'' that i tapped on in the middle of my lid. 

I might have dipped into ''Deceased'', but i didn't really take note of it since i decided on putting this out here on the big scary internet after a little while.

The shadows offer great pigmentation, and so far seem to last me very well on the lids too. This time i only prepped using whatever was left of my foundation. 

I can't wait to have more time to play with this palette.
